Colour from around the world… On Sunday, in London we watched AlfaParf Milano Professional host its annual awards evening to celebrate some incredible colourists from many competing countries.
The competitors and their models flew in from around the globe. The jury decided on the winner and announced it to an excited audience. We loved the high-octane atmosphere. Here are the finalists:
- Jimmy González, Guatemala
- Bianca Bakas, Australia
- Luis Alberto Herrara Gonzales, Mexico
- Mikey Noir, United Kingdom
- Amanda Hogan, Ireland
- Marisa Daniela Lima Martins, Portugal
- Amber Maynard, USA
- Nicôle Antonia, Brazil
- Daniele Potirniche, Italy
- Yosdy Yamilet Ortiz Acosta, Ecuador
- Elena Vintu, Romania
You may have guessed from our listing, the winner is Jimmy González. He stole the stage with his cool tones…
Let’s hear from the man himself:
“I drew inspiration from the cold climate of the beloved region I live in, Quetzaltenango in Guatemala. This cool-toned shade evokes feelings of confidence, courage, extroversion and originality,” says Jimmy. “I am very happy to receive this award and I’m so grateful for being here.”
A huge congratulations from the Colour World team to all the finalists!
