Christel Lundqvist – Scandi-luxe

Founder of Stil salon, Christel Lundqvist is a hugely respected colourist with a long history of working with great hairdressers to create fabulous collections which are both edgy yet accessible. With her creative team, this colle ction showcases perfectly Scandi Luxe utilitarian fashion with pared-back beauty. Modern, minimal styles with a simplistic, yet elegant finish.

REWIND: A feminine, 60s inspired centre sweep style brought into the future by adding a raw, weathered texture to the hair, which is enhanced with organic-looking colour for a contemporary feel.

Colour: A glazing technique was used to create a minimal, effortless colour with a malt-brown hue applied to the root area, blending into a soft, natural brunette through the length and ends, using TIGI Copyright Colour gloss.

SCANDI-BLONDE: Conveying a sense of cool that other tones of blondes simply fall short of, the Scandi-blonde is naturally elegant with a nonchalant attitude. Modern retro waves with a gently undulating fringe give this bright Nordic colour a soft, feminine finish.

• Colour: A classic seamless highlighting technique was used to create a bright Scandanavian blonde look. The hair was lightened with TIGI True Light White, then glossed with TIGI Copyright Colour gloss to create a pure blonde result.

COME AS YOU ARE: Inspired by the come as you are trend for letting individual beauty shine through, this insouciant tucked-in hair look is easy to achieve, low-maintenance, and looks effortlessly chic. The key is natural, undone texture.

• Colour: Stils Lumiere Lights freehand technique was used to create a contoured effect of warm taupe around the face for brightness and lightness, using TIGI Copyright Colour Lift. The all-over colour was then glossed with a rich bronze hue with TIGI Copyright Colour gloss.
