A sustainable future for Evo

Love these names: Box o’bollox; Casual Act; Cassius; and Crop Strutters. They are a few of Evo’s products that are leading the way in a sustainable future for Evo. And they do it by introducing new, round packaging made from post-consumer recycled plastic. We are excited to hear more about this…

Evo Girl

The switch to a round puck-shaped pack means these products are not only easier to use and store, but are kinder to the planet. All four styling products retain the same formulas but the packs are now made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR). What’s more, the PCR content is locally sourced meaning Evo is not only creating less virgin plastic but also further reducing its carbon footprint by localising production. Evo bottles, tubes, and travel-size products all will be following the lead of the ones that caught our eye by making the transition to PCR packaging, too. It’s great to see Evo doing their bit!

Evo products

Evo is seeking to be more responsible and transitioning to PCR is just one of the many ways they are minimising their impact on the environment. Last year, evo joined forces with Plastic Bank to help stop ocean-bound plastic from polluting waterways, while improving the lives of the people who collect it. For every evo retail product sold, the same amount of plastic is collected from the environment. Collection members exchange plastic at their local branch to secure life–improving benefits such as health, work and life insurance, school supplies, meal vouchers and more.
