Emma Bird collection by Debbie Gee

We find this Emma Bird collection by Debbie Gee to be beautifully interesting, literally. The images are mesmerizing. Admire these warm blonde tones, sharing both shine and texture. It’s simple but there’s so much in there. Debbie Gee at Billi Currie salon, created the images after being inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock movie ‘The Birds’.

The film is about a rich socialite visiting an American seaside town where sudden bird attacks happen over a number of days. How sinister! The 1960s Hitchcock movie is stylish, clean, and intense. And Debbie’s hair collection has followed suit.

The haircut – ‘the Emma’ is a stylish short, head-hugging shape which gives a round, feminine and 60s silhouette. The internal shape is layered through & gently pointed to add softness which can be styled with both a textured and smooth effect.

And what we’ve all been waiting for… The colour. It is giving 60s movie star vibe, a soft blonde to compliment the light colour of the model. Debbie has taken inspiration from actress Tippi Hedren who starred in the original Hitcock movie. Beautifully done!
