Metalica from Vivienne Mackinder is a soft and sensual collection celebrating classic design with an edge. The concept was inspired by the AW20 Fendi collection, where session supremo Sam McKnight created a hair look that blended seamlessly with the clothes.

“I wanted to offer images that would inspire the stylist and be an easy ‘buy-in’ for clients,” says Vivienne. “As much as I love avant-garde hair, there is something very fresh about simple, relaxed and sensual hair- this is Metalica.”

We’re totally swooning over this iridescent collection – shot beautifully by Desmond Murray – which is indeed a step away from her usual edgy style. The softness of the images gives the looks a commercial edge, but there’s a definite don’t-mess-with-me attitude that inspires us all.
