Nacar by Christian Ríos

The name of this collection, Nacar, translates in Spanish as mother-of-pearl. You’ll notice the hair colours are shiny and have iridescent reflections to emulate aspects of the precious pearl. Christian Ríos is the creative behind this collection; the Spanish hairdresser holds an array of accolades including being posted online in popular, well-known industry publications such as Tribu-te magazine! Nice.

Inspiration for Nacar

“The seabed is a capricious and changing mantle of chromatic shades that varies as the light moves. An unprecedented color transition, but at the same time harmonious and always full of beauty. These are the motifs that inspire this collection with iridescent tones, with gradations and soft, sinuous shapes that reproduce the movement of currents, the emerging richness of tones from a hidden universe that emerges in hair.” Christian Rios
