Introducing Alfredo Valero’s latest collection, taking the theme of nostalgia. Let’s roll back in time to the 1970s… Alfredo was inspired by 70s British fashion, which was eclectic, unisex and unique. Interestingly, we can still see this fashion being a huge influence today.
This collection has been edited entirely through artificial intelligence; fusing models, their hair and styling to achieve stunning images. It sparks interest in how new generations are affected by the new world. Alfredo says, new generations are born into a digital world flooded with personalised, device-controlled advertising, which has led to a growing personal and widespread dissatisfaction and this feeling of lack of fulfilment has taken over. This lack of clarity of thought causes haziness within society which can direct us aimlessly but in reality is being calculated by algorithms and artificial intelligence.
In Alfredo’s words:
“In my opinion, the future is neither utopian nor dystopian, as technology provides us with so much information and possibilities that it helps us to deepen the individualisation or protopia of the subject.”
