Respectfully 012 – Hairdressing charities with Sam Grocutt & Stewart Roberts

It’s no secret that hairdressers are caring people, and what better way to use your skill to raise money for a good cause. This week, we’re talking about industry charities and what you can do to help; or even what they could do to help you! We talk about the Hairdressing charities  about how they help hairdressers in need, as well as chatting with the founder of Haircuts 4 Homeless (who pretty much do what they say on the tin…) to find out how you can get involved.

On the panel…

Samantha Grocutt– Founder of Essence PR and current president of Hairdresser’s Charity.  The Hairdressers Charity has had its charitable status for 3 years now, they were established in 1853 and were formerly known as HABB.

Stewart Roberts– Founder of Haircuts 4 Homeless, Stewart gave up his salon in December to focus on his charity work. Since they started in November 2014, they have grown exponentially – they now have more than 300 volunteers and have completed more than 35,000 haircuts for the homeless!
