Aveda introduces its first styling product within the brand’s bond-building franchise, and it does what it says; Botanical Repair Bond Building Styling Creme. The creme is powered by the Botanical Repair 3-layer hair repair technology, Aveda claims it is here to strengthen and repair from the inside out while giving a smooth, lasting style.
So, let’s learn about the technology behind it:
- Repair at the cortex. Aveda’s plant-derived bond-building molecule claims to go below the surface of the hair to build bonds, strengthening and reinforcing hair integrity at the core.
- Prevent at the cuticle. A blend of avocado, green tea and sacha inchi smooths the cuticle to detangle and help prevent breakage.
- Protect at the f-layer. Aveda’s protective complex creates a botanical f-layer – an invisible water-resistant lipid layer that “seals” the surface of the hair cuticle – to help protect and shield the hair from future damage.
