Four talented UK and Ireland hairdressers are join the 2024 line-up for the Matrix global artistic team, bringing their creativity to an international stage for the coming year.
Great to see so many good friends of Colour World on the international radar! We are excited to announce the following: Matrix editorial, colour, and trend ambassador Zoe Irwin; artistic director Christian Wiles; and brand hair artists Ria Kulik; and Niall McNulty are in. They all fought off tough competition from more than 100 international artists who applied to be included within the international team.
At this time, the Global team is made up of colour-specialist artists with three core areas as a focus:
- Product testing and feedback – collaborate, provide feedback and share key market insights
- Photoshoot talent – creating new looks, techniques and to champion DMI – digital marketing intelligence – content O+O
- International trainings & events – reignite DMI + global partnerships, and co-develop TTT content
In addition, another good friend of Colour World, Desmond Murray, is the fifth artist from the UKI community who has earned the title of Matrix international artist, specialising in cutting and styling. Desmond has been making waves across America throughout 2022 and 2023 appearing on many stages on behalf of Matrix and working closely with the USA team to deliver his signature cutting and styling expertise. Here in the UKI, Desmond has also led texture training and is a dedicated mentor to artists and young creatives which will continue in 2024.
We look forward to seeing these guys across the field this year and can’t wait to see the magic they will bring to Colour World once again!
