Goldwell’s annual Color Zoom competition is up there as one of our favourite colour competitions on the hairdressing calendar, thanks to the adventurous briefs and daring looks generated each and every year! And this year’s cohort of entries certainly didn’t disappoint.
REMIX
The 2019 theme was ‘remix’ – where entrants were asked to create a look that combined bold colours, sharp contours and strong contrasts – looking at the Pop Art movement and graphic minimalism for inspiration. Cool, hey?
The final of the UK competition was held at the end of last month at the iconic Printworks, a groundbreaking London venue known for live music and its uber-cool industrial vibe. More than 750 enthusiastic salon professionals from Goldwell’s network packed into the venue to enjoy cocktails, street food and a spectacular show by the brand’s guest artists before finding out who would take Gold, Silver and Bronze across the three Color Zoom categories… Drum roll please!
