The Heritage Daydreaming collection

Antonio is the artistic director at Antonio Giovanni Hairdressing in Norwich and Ipswich, Suffolk, and a familiar name in awards competitions. This collection for 2022 is titled Heritage Daydreaming and plays with iconic shapes, outlines, and textures that reference our hair history. For this collection, photographer Jamie Blanshard has captured each look perfectly to share the detail in the colour and texture, too. Study and learn!

So, where did the inspiration come from?

Antonio says: “In this collection, I wanted to show higher quality and to have a more diverse collection of images showcasing different textures and shapes. Influences came in the way of a shoot I’d seen featured in the ‘Another’ magazine and whilst daydreaming into the Sassoon archive of past images – which is always an inspiration. I love edgy yet beautiful hair imagery and have strived to show this in my collection.”
