Dried Flowers

This poetic collection from French stylist Jérôme Fendt is a dream come true. Capturing the purity, stillness and evolution of the colour process of dried flowers, the images have a hypnotic calmness about them that is pure magic.

A word from Jérôme…

“I take inspiration in my work from natural beauty and dried flowers. They are silent but tell of a life in the open, where colour persists and is never extinguished. They live gently and that inspires me. When their petals fade, they take on new tones. A natural colour palette is born from slowness; the experience of almost forgetting colour. I want to bring this poetry to my hair work and share the series of colour change. Each head shows a hair colour that is almost an imprint of something previous. This way the flowers never fully fade because they live in the texture of the hair, in the light reflects, giving an echo of a season.”
