Rainbow Room International look forward!

Rainbow Room International look forward to coming trends for the AW20 season. And we’re thoroughly liking what they have to say. The creative team is headed up by international artistic directors Suzie McGill and Dylan Brittain, referencing recent looks to explain their thinking.

Rainbow Room International trends

“Colour contrasting and two-tone hair has started to become more popular and this will progress as we head into autumn, with clients looking to have a drastic contrast in their hair with lighter face framing pieces. This is a great look for brunettes in particular, giving them a quirky update for the season. Bold and bright colours can also be incorporated into this look for a fun and funky feel.”

Rainbow Room International“Icy and silver tones will also make a comeback for the season that have a smoky yet soft tone that will flatter most skin tones. These are great shades for blondes who want to give their hair an update for the season and also look great with a subtle darker root.”

“Lived-in hair will be one of the biggest hair styling and cutting trends for the season, with the shag making a comeback and client’s looking to wear their hair more effortless and natural, embracing their hairs texture or enhancing their hair with messy waves and curls.”

Rainbow Room International“Solid haircuts such as bobs that look incredibly sleek will also be on trend and these look particularly great when paired with a strong fringe for a great structured look. The glass hair trend where hair looks incredibly shiny remains on trend for the season and works particularly well with these strong bobs and blunt one length cuts for a statement finish.”
