Goldwell’s Color of the Year 2026 is ‘Bellini’. We love it! Bellini is the vibe of optimism and the skill of artistry in a luminous, head-turning shade. It’s been created from Goldwell’s existing colour palette, and developed in collaboration with international colourists.
Bravo to Salome De Wet, Zachary Norman, Peter Wu and Neil Barton (pictured above). They’ve turned up a glorious vibrant shade which looks expensive.
What does Bellini say?
This colour radiates luminous, modern romance but with nostalgia and a bold, digital spirit we’re told. It’s a glowing hue which has an unexpected ‘pop’ with just the right amount of edge. Call it refined and rebellious, soft yet striking. Clients will get it, completely!
Referencing the Pantone Peach Pink, you can concoct Bellini for yourself… here’s how:

Color the Future
It’s bold. It’s bright. It’s Bellini. For 2026, Goldwell embarked on its first-ever Color CoLAB. Colorists Salome De Wet, Zachary Norman, Peter Wu, and Neil Barton joined forces with leading forecaster Jane Boddy to co-create a fresh new color palette and must-have looks to inspire colorists across the globe.

“Many Asians are worried lightening will damage their hair, but the Colorance products actually help repair it,” says Peter Wu, Goldwell Artist in Taiwan
“Creating the Color of the Year 2026, Bellini, was quite special for me. The experience was really joyful. I think my favorite part was when we brainstormed the creative concept together. Coordinating colors was pretty fun because we started from scratch. Some of our ideas were quite similar, some very different. And that gave us a lot of advantages. We shared ideas, and that’s how this color came to be. The transformation was dramatic. Originally, our model Chanel had black hair, and the whole visual impression completely changed — she became like a different person.”
