Pantone Colour of the Year 2019

Pantone have announced the colour of the year 2019, which is… (drum roll please)

Say hello to Living Coral

This peachy-pinky sunset colour is both vibrant and mellow at the same time. Described by Pantone themselves as, “An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.”We’ve been checking out the living coral hair colours out there. From what we’ve seen this really is a colour to dye for (pardon the pun).

Take a look at some of our favourites:

Living Coral emits the desired, familiar, and energizing aspects of color found in nature. In its glorious, yet unfortunately more elusive, display beneath the sea, this vivifying and effervescent color mesmerizes the eye and mind. Lying at the center of our naturally vivid and chromatic ecosystem, PANTONE Living Coral is evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of color.
