Treated to an invite for the Joico Fifty Fest celebration in Italy recently, we loved a stage presentation by hairdresser and blonde specialist Bona Joerg. Making her stage debut (we couldn’t tell), Bona shared her vision of blonde for 1,000+ hairdressers and we lapped it up. Now we’re thrilled to share her most recent collection.
Lines of Vision is inspired by two of Zaha Hadid’s iconic buildings. Enjoy these interpretations of The Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, with its soft, flowing curves and organic movement; and the Guangzhou Opera House in China, defined by sharp geometry and bold, structured lines.
Lines of Vision
Bona says:
She has long been fascinated by Hadid’s ability to transform architecture into emotion, merging radical form with minimalist strength. Bona sought to translate these principles into the language of hair design.
The collection thrives on contrasts: fluid softness versus graphic tension, expansion versus compression, movement versus stillness. Each creation is conceived as a visual composition, shaped by light, contour, balance, and rhythm.
Even when working with wigs and hairpieces, Bona’s focus remained on the integrity of the material itself: sculpting hair by hand, never masking it. Her aim was to demonstrate that simplicity and precision can hold as much visual power as complexity. Lines of Vision is where minimalism meets momentum – a study of contrast, intention, and the art of silence.
