A big hit at Colour World this May, colourist Sarah Spiers shared her highly fabulous colour expertise and engaging educational style with our visitors. Now we are thrilled to see she has joined the line-up at Not Another Club to share more widely still her ace colour knowhow and wide ranging experience.

As the hair industry is evolving rapidly, stylists increasingly need reliable support and delivered fast. From managing finances to perfecting techniques, hairdressers require real-time guidance and a community that truly understands their challenges.
The reveal recently of Not Another Club, a unique coaching platform founded by hairdresser and former salon owner Sophia Hilton, is a viable solution. It offers stylists and salon owners a network of industry experts who provide both technical, business and emotional support.
As a break from the more traditional coaching programme, Not Another Club brings together five key areas of expertise: colour and in-salon support; finances; social media; tech & digital; and wellness/wellbeing. Amongst them is Sarah Spiers, a colour specialist and educator with more than 30 years of experience. We know her well for her expert knowledge in colour and providing hairdressers with clarity, confidence, and control.
The modern experience
Freelancers might experience feelings of isolation when working independently, especially when confronted with colour challenges or business decisions that require expert input. That’s why Not Another Club was created. Yes it is an educational platform but also the team of mentors is available to support stylists when they need it most. Similarly, salon owners may find themselves unsure about how to answer a colour-related question, especially if it has been posed by another staff member. In such cases, they also benefit from this support.
“Stylists need more than just technical skills; they need guidance, reassurance, and a strong support network,” Sarah says. “Not Another Club creates that space, offering freelancers and salon owners the expertise and community they’ve been missing.”
24/7 Colour Hotline
Colour work is unpredictable, and when something doesn’t go as planned, stylists need fast, reliable guidance, not just theory, but actionable advice that solves real-world problems. Not Another Club has introduced its 24/7 Colour Hotline, where Sarah offers immediate, expert-backed solutions.
“You don’t always have time to second-guess yourself in a busy salon,” Sarah explains. “Having access to experts when you need them, that’s a game-changer for any stylist, especially freelancers who don’t have a team around them.
“It is such a big and fast-growing community, and if someone has a query, there is always someone who can assist. I monitor this and am always on hand for support. It’s an incredibly welcoming and supportive community that I’m so proud to be part of.”
As one of five expert coaches at Not Another Club Sarah works alongside specialists in social media, financial planning, tech support, and wellbeing, ensuring stylists get guidance in every aspect of their career, not just colour.
“Every stylist’s success is about more than just technique,” Sarah says. “It’s about confidence, financial stability, marketing, and knowing how to use the tools that keep you ahead. That’s what we’re building here, something that understands what stylists need today.”
