Make the world a colourful place this Earth Day

Here at Colour World we are big advocates on sustainability and being green. If you’ve been to the event or tuned in to last year CWTV you’ve probably heard us shouting about it.

Because it’s Earth Day, we wanted to recap on some chats about sustainability and what changes you can make to become greener.

5 simple ways to be more eco-friendly

  1. Recycle where you can
  2. Watch your water usage
  3. Use eco-friendly cleaning products
  4. Invest in energy-efficient light bulbs
  5. Switch to a green energy supplier

A great place to start. Going green requires research and by making these initial changes it’s a step in the right direction.

When you are ready, you can assess the sustainability of the colour and product lines you’re currently using and maybe even consider if there are more eco-friendly brands out there.

With the increased coverage on sustainability over the last few years, clients are becoming more eco-savvy. Not only will these changes do wonders for the planet, it could be a great marketing move for your salon too!
