Redken expands its colour portfolio

Intending to offer clients the widest possible choice when it comes to colour is central to being seen as a colour destination salon. Redken therefore has just made the job that much easier with the introduction of nine new shades to its Redken HDR range.

BIGGER COLOUR CHOICE

If you didn’t already know, HDR stands for ‘high definition resolution. This is what Redken aims to bring to your clients’ colour with its HDR tone-on-tone colour. The formula is low in alkaline to increase the amount of colour pigment deposited in the hair, thereby also increasing how long the colour will last – most important to keep your clients happy with little risk of disappointment by premature colour fade. Redken’s HDR colour is demi-permanent, which means it should last 24 washes, plus it’s packed with conditioning polymers which smooth the hair surface for enhanced shine and definition.

WHO WILL LOVE IT?

Redken describes the ideal client for its latest colour innovations as ‘someone who wants to lighten and also brighten their natural hair colour or cover grey without commitment to permanent colour.’ Which to us sounds like a great way of opening up colour services to an even wider client base. To support the introduction of the nine newbies, Redken also proposes three new ‘recipes’ using the new shades. Ask your rep for details. Now get to it!
