A wonderful piece of kit designed to mould  the shape of the stylist’s hand and the client’s scalp. We know, it looks odd to begin with but once you try it, you’ll understand!

Tim Binnington and the Manta inspiration

As we said, the man behind the innovative brush knows what stylists want. Tim Binnington is a successful hairdresser with more than 25 years experience and 60-strong salon chain. His definition of the Manta:

A  brush designed to create less tension, while stimulating the scalp to promote hair growth.

Tim’s inspiration came from his desire to create a brush for his wife, who was loosing her hair after a serious illness. As her hair grew back, Tim witnessed her trying to comb it with her fingers  in order to avoid breakage. Combining this experience with all his salon expertise, Tim devised Manta, a brush that would be incredibly gentle on the hair.
