Ideas for Goldwell’s Elumenated Color & In-Salon Treatment

One thing this year has brought is a strong focus on hair that looks healthy and fabulous at all times, so it’s vital to protect against environmental aggressors and encourage conditioning treatments. Ta dah! Take a look at two new service ideas from Goldwell @Elumenated color & in-salon treatments…

Goldwell Elumenated colour is an opportunity to personalise your clients’ colour whilst offering 63% more shine, on average, than any regular hair colour according to the brand.

Goldwell’s Color Morphing Service looks to create iridescent, holographic effects in hair colour that changes and moves with the light.

It’s created with Topchic and Pure Pigments, the effect comes from mixing equal parts of 2 or more Pure Pigments shades together. The Topchic shade remains the same, as oxidative colour sits in the cortex; whereas Pure Pigments creates an iridescent layer on the outside.

This can create a new colour story for your client, with no extra service time. Sounds like a win, win!

Here’s what Alex Collins, Goldwell’s EMEA Education Development Manager, says about the service: “@Pure Pigments is Goldwell’s most customizable form of Elumenation. When selecting your @Pure Pigments shades, remember opposites attract. For example, Pure Violet and Pure Yellow in a brunette will have their own time to shine in the light.”

Depth and dimension achieved naturally… This is what Goldwell claim to offer with their new shadowing colour service.

This look is created with Elumen, Goldwell’s purest form of Elumenation with the strongest Elumenated results in the Goldwell portfolio. It’s an ammonia and oxidant-free powerful colour that refills damaged areas within the hair fibre.

The shadowing service, offers depth at the root and a level lighter at the ends. Goldwell tells us to achieve this, it’s recommended to stay two levels difference from the root to the ends. For example, a level 10 on the ends and a level 8 on the roots. This creates a natural look and helps to diffuse the client’s regrowth.

Alex Collins, gives some more insight:

“I love Elumen! When deciding your shadowing service color placement, always follow the client’s natural parting. Remember to blend is your friend, merge your color products together to create that seamless look.”

The change in climate from Summer to Winter can cause stress on the hair. That’s why Goldwell have introduced their in-salon treatments, introducing Dualsenses Intensive Conditioning Serum. Goldwell says these in-salon treatments are great for enlarging your service portfolio and demonstrating your expertise to your client.

Dualsenses Intensive Conditioning serums are quick and easy, taking less than 5 minutes in-salon. This can give your clients an instant result, that they can’t get at home; as well as it being a great conversation starter to talking to your client about at-home care and festive gifts.

Goldwell offer’s 7 Dualsenses Intensive Conditioning Serums for clients to choose from. Their stylists favourite is the colour service. They say it’s the perfect finish for every colour service, by locking colour and amplifying luminosity; helping keep salon-colour vibrant for up to 22 hair washes.

So time to revamp your menu, get busy with the bookings and make this a #colourtastic Autumn season. goldwell
