Quick off the Very Peri mark (always sign of a popular consumer trend) this collection from Andrew Smith salons! Working with the only-just-announced Pantone Colour of the Year ‘Very Peri’, he has collabbed with photographer Richard Miles, and we’re loving the looks. Oh and that he’s shared the ‘how-to’ as well! Nice one.
“Pantone, as we know, is the global leading authority in colour and predications and whilst some may question the relevance of the Pantones within the hairdressing industry, I strongly believe that when identifying what clients are seeing when they scroll online and social media for hair colour inspiration, you simply cannot ignore the domination of the Pantone Colours – they are hugely influential.” Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith says:
“Very Peri is a gorgeous new trend which I am so excited about. Depending on the client, their skin tone and lifestyle, this can be bespoke to them – ensuring they have a manageable colour that works for them and looks fabulous at all times. By balancing the violet red tone and the blue tone correctly, it is a true recipes for success.
The blue tones can be cooled down by adding in a little more blue, or the violet tones can be warmed up by adding excess pink or red. The intensity of the colour can also be altered to suit the client, becoming more vibrant for those who want a much more statement colour or toned down to a more pastel shade, for those looking for a much more subtle colour.”
