We love the grace and taste of the Tribu-te Show which takes place in London every October. The producers take over the ornate Novello Theatre in the West End (the home of the Mamma Mia production). Here, Tribu-te offers a select 5 hairdressing artist the best possible platform to show off their genius skills. With 20 minutes and a limit of 2 models each, every artist on the roster had to impress a crowd of nearly 700 ticket-holders, many of them accomplished hairdressers themselves and not so easy to please. But they did.

Genius hairdressing

Desmond Murray opened the show with a dynamic show incorporating styling for photography in particular. Andrew Jose and his colleague Eveline cut and textured their models in a presentation entitled ‘Romanticism’. Darren and Jackie at D&J Ambrose were stunning as they created a muse in just 20 minutes – so cool. Sally and Jamie at Brooks&Brooks were sublime in deconstructing to avant-garde looks to make them simple and pure yet spell-binding. And to finish, we were delighted to see how Angelo Seminara, topping the bill, used his colour expertise to best effect. To find out how he creates his stencil patterns click HERE.
