Sean Nolan – a tribute

The passing last week of our friend Sean Nolan @ HOB Salons, a brilliant educator and colourist, has rocked the industry. It seemed fitting that at Colour World we acknowledge and pay respect to someone so passionate about his work and the craft of colouring hair. Sean was an ardent supporter of Colour World from the outset in 2016; he judged the Colour World Genius Awards this year, and was due to represent Wella Professionals in the Colour SHair area over the two days last weekend in East London. There are no words to express all our sorrow, but on stage at the Genius Awards, Lilly Cox articulated brilliantly how important it is to us all to show our love for Sean. At her suggestion, we honoured our lost colour hero, gave him a rousing burst of applause, and headed to the bar with a smile.
