Robert Eaton is…

...the new Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year 2017! A broad grin and a trophy in his hand, Robert Eaton [pictured left] was super-chuffed to collect the biggest colour prize at the British Hairdressing Awards last night. Well deserved – his colour work is exemplary and he’s been a superb technician for quite some time now so good to see him recognised in such a way. In fact, the entire Russell Eaton salon clan had plenty to celebrate at Robert’s sister Isobel Eaton picked up North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year 2017, and her colleagues Daniel Couch and Ashleigh Maybank came away with joint ownership of North Western Hairdresser of the Year 2017
With 1500 or so hairdressers packed into the Great Room at London’s Grosvenor House, the atmosphere was upbeat and the ceremony presided over by TV presenter Cat Deeley (Dancing with the Stars). Our most #colourtastic moments included the show presentations from the finalists for British Hairdresser of the Year (loving in particular Darren Ambrose and Eugene Souleiman’s colour splashes)… and Indira Schauwecker’s awesome outfit showcased when collecting London Hairdresser of the Year. Plus a great show from Schwarzkopf Professional for Ikonic Essential Looks. This last put together by Tyler Johnston, Lesley Jennison and Rainbow Room International’s award-winning duo, Suzie McGill and Dylan Brittain – who together later collected Scottish Hairdresser of the Year 2017 trophy. Phew! It was all going on…. And the big finish of course, seeing Sally Brooks at Brooks&Brooks named British Hairdresser of the Year. First time in 12 years for a woman, and a perfect choice. We love her! Now browse our gallery for inspiration.
