Hello to Xposure winners

We’re delighted to say hello to the Xposure winners named by Wella Professionals this week. The Xposure competition is aimed at hairdressing students based in the UK and Ireland with less than five years experience, who are training at college or a private training academy.

Online competition for 2020

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the competition this year moved online with two categories to enter; Creative Colour, and Colour the Cut. First step was to qualify by uploading a picture online to show a general live of skill. Those selected were then invited to make a short video talking about their entry, plus supply a written document explaining how the look was created.

Check out this line-up of winners – quite a standard!

Gold, Silver and Bronze winners were chosen in each category, with 30 certificates of Merit awarded to runners-up. Winners now have a trophy and access to a bespoke education development programme and hairdressing tool kits. [Scroll below for a full list of all who made it!]

We have had a record number of entries this year, which under the current circumstances, is incredible. The standard throughout has been incredibly impressive. British hairdressing is clearly in safe hands if this entry level standard is anything to go by. Congratulations to all the winners,” said Allie Hargreaves, National Education Operations and Events Manager UK & Ireland.

A special prize went to Moray College UHI, who had the highest number of entries and won a free education session with a Guest Artist.
