Our eyes are on the brilliant collection from International Technical Artistic Director Siobhan Haug at Toni&Guy who has been awarded Colour Technician of the Year 2021. We joined the party at HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards last night, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, and totally agree with the judges choice!
Winning colour
‘Tisci’ offers infinite layers of tone, romantic swirls of light and dark and textural colour that was inspired by unusual colour combinations.
Siobhan’s collection is titled ‘Tisci’ and demonstrates not only technical skill, but creative vision and comprehension of current trends. She says: “I feel so honoured to be recognised by some of the most incredible hairdressing talent and win this award. A love of colour has given me the most wonderful career journey surrounded by my incredible hairdressing family at Toni&Guy. I’m so proud to share this award with them”.
“I love creating interesting movement with colour. Hair is a fascinating, transient canvas and colour is our paint to add beautiful, intricate details that capture attention – this is so important to me when creating a collection. Like a piece of art, different elements appeal to different people. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”
