Keith Mellen and Anne Veck, directors of Anne Veck Ltd, are to take leading roles in a webinar for the UK Business & Biodiversity Forum, calling on the hair and beauty sector to help reverse the ‘catastrophic decline in nature.’
Both fierce advocates of halting climate change, Anne and Keith have worked hard over the years to make significant changes to their salon business. Anne Veck Oxford was the first salon in the UK to be certified carbon neutral and they have both won countless awards for their ongoing environmental initiatives, aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of their salon business and encouraging others to do the same.
As if all that wasn’t enough, they are also the brains behind the Salon Re:Source kit, a downloadable document providing information on the changes that hairdressers and salon owners can make to play their part in creating a more environmentally-conscious industry.
