Ooh we love news of a new collaboration and this one is going to bring new energy to colour education. Alan D is a renowned City of London Hairdressing and Barber School. With a lengthy history in the industry winning hearts and minds for education and apprenticeship training, Edward Hemmings at Alan D announces a relaunch of its programmes joining a new professional partner, Fanola. This is an Italian professional haircare and colour brand… you’ll know it for being the OG ‘No Yellow Shampoo.’ Lets find out more
Here’s the proposal

From technical services to wet lines and styling, Alan d will be a single-brand centre offering exclusive training to Fanola’s growing list of salons. The courses will take place in London, and draw from both the South East, and across the UK.

Creative Director Edward Hemmings is enthusiastic about the partnership: “I got a brilliant cryptic message on LinkedIn from Managing Director of Hairdressing Supplies and Fanola Education, Hannah Martin! It was clear we both shared the same vision for our businesses. It took only one trip to the Hairdressing Supplies and Fanola UK home in Lincolnshire to make up our minds. We’re so excited to be working with a brand that has such a strong focus on growth through education.”
What it means

The collaboration is commencing now, kicking off with the extensive Alan d model bank bing skin-tested and prepared for a new era of Fanola education.
Managing Director of Hairdressing Supplies and Spokesperson for Fanola Education, Hannah Martin, is equally delighted: “We are ready to go and can’t wait to start supporting Alan d, offering our clients the opportunity to experience London training. It was great meeting Alan and Edward and being able to offer customers in London and the South East a place to explore the possibilities of Fanola products in a real-world setting.”
We know Edward and his team to be eloquent and dynamic educators – fun to work with and determined to support training and teaching at all levels. They have been around a long time, but equally are up to the minute in their approach. Check the Alan D TikTok for proof on that!
