Pop, by Keith Bryce, is a collection inspired by the creative and chromatic effervescence of the streets of London, the great city of trends.
Looks that may seem excessive somewhere else find here an expressive shelter. That’s why ”the collection presents an irreverent attitude under a gaze that normalizes it. Crests and sideburns reminiscent of punk, exotic volumes from another world, extreme colourations that, with an impossible contrast, achieve a new order… and all under a monochrome yellow atmosphere where hair is the main protagonist”. We are hooked!
Keith is a photographer and designer from Salt Lake City in the USA, who later went on to study hairdressing (cosmetology). His avant-garde signature style is bold and dynamic, embracing the drama of the shape and the potential of colour to enhance his looks.
However edgy and grammable these finished images might be, there’s an element of the attainable. Study closely and see where you can take inspiration and translate to more wearable, salon-useful cuts and colours.
