Loving this Away Days collaboration between Jason Hall and Desmond Murray. They are both excellent hairdressers, session stylists and friends! This new mens collection showcases dynamic colour for lads with cool crops, courtesy of Jason, and photographed in a strong style thanks to Desmond wielding the camera. It’s a textbook example of how to create modern images that will bring in clients while scoring 10/10 for being on-trend, too. The big plus is the use of colour. It’s not always easy to draw in the boys, but here is done perfectly – strong but not scary.
Away Days
On the shoot, Jason included a dream team of Jo Sugar on make-up and Jak Hall on clothes styling. Jason explains the motivation: “Inspired by the youth hopefuls who’ve travelled to see their favourite football team play. Hair to perfection ready for celebration or commiseration, away days is part of the brotherhood.”
Based in his eponymous salon in Edinburgh, Jason is a fierce collector of air miles – travelling extensively for his work. He clearly has a great understanding of where mens styling is at. We love this. Bravo!
