Prisma technique – Blue Tit salons

Blue Tit, the award-winning London salon group known for its trailblazing techniques and inventive use of colour, reveals a colouring technique developed by its talented colour team. Prisma is a technique – showcased in the Delysid collection, pictured below, that combines fluidity with effortlessly-blended colour, to create an end result that is full of vivid deconstructed colours and distorted patterns. It is inspired by the psychedelic idea of unlocking the mind and altering perception. By creating styles that have a hallucinogenic quality, the Prisma technique was the best way to achieve this.

Prisma was developed by a pool of talent from three of Blue Tit’s seven award-winning salons. Blending together their expertise, Lidia Patrizia, Head Colourist at Blue Tit Brixton and Harriet Franks, Head Colourist at Blue Tit Peckham, together with Declan Haworth, Head Colourist at Blue Tit Dalston, took inspiration from 1960s psychedelia in creating this new technique.
