The Creative Retreat is a 2-day creative re-set in London that helps you create concepts for shoots, competitions and your own personal brands. Explore your mindset, delve into your imagination, believe in yourself again. This is not a typical hair seminar happening, This is not a cut and colour education. Instead this is exactly what it says; a retreat from the mundane, a refuge from the stress of the day-to-day, and a sanctuary to nourish your creative soul
The Creative Retreat is devised and hosted by the inimitable Candice McKay who is a joy. If she doesn’t boost your energy and bring out your inner artistry, then nobody can. Candice has travelled the world and worked on shoots, shows and in salons far and wide. Her extensive experience is to your benefit. With such a wealth of learning to share, Candice will steer you back onto the pathway to joyfully working in hairdressing. Remembering what you love and raring to go.
At the Creative Retreat there’s a strong focus on:
– mindset and creative confidence
– how to stay creative on a daily basis
– stepping out of repetition and back into curiosity, curating ideas and concepts
– reducing the pressure around social media. Building a more natural, sustainable way of showing up
– understanding trends and translating them into work that feels relevant and personal.
