Revlon Professional Colour Specialist Programme: First Graduates Celebrate

In case you missed it, Revlon Professional launched its first Colour Specialist Programme, and recently, the brand team gathered for a ceremony at Greater London House to celebrate their first graduates.

The graduation ceremony was hosted at Revlon Professional HQ – Greater London House, and brought together educators, graduates, and industry guests. This intensive training is the brand’s most advanced and comprehensive colour education course.

The Revlon Professional team helped present and run the celebration.

Matt Horder, general manager at Revlon Professional UKI, and Rio-Agor Watts, group education manager for UKI Revlon Professional brands, welcomed the guests and shared the story behind the programme and its mission for the future of colour education.

Philip Meehan and Karen Thomas, who built the initiative and brought the programme to life, were presenting the certificates to the graduate stylists.

Mastering the Art and Science of Colour with Revlon Professional

The Revlon Colour Specialist Programme is an invitation-only course, offering experienced colourists looking to master both the science and artistry of hair colour.

Matt Horder explains: “The programme is designed not only to deepen technical expertise, but also to create a supportive community where colourists can challenge themselves, share ideas, and grow creatively. Their dedication, curiosity and passion for learning truly embody the spirit of Revlon Professional.”

Across eight intensive training days, learning over four modules, participants get hands-on experience exploring advanced colour theory, the chemistry behind Revlon Professional formulas, the science of light, pigment and oxidation. It offers a combination of pre-course study, online assessments, in-salon case studies and a final examination to certify each graduate’s expertise.

The programme challenges colourists with NVQ Level 3 and a minimum of four years’ professional experience to deepen their technical understanding while refining their creative approach to colour.

It’s a fact that learning is never-ending. There’s always room to improve and learn to master new techniques and innovations. Raising the bar in colour education gives stylists the chance to create and deliver fresh, improved results in the chair, and that always means happy clients.
