We were delighted to share a collection from colourist and educator Bona Jörg in our Inspiration section HERE… Named Lines of Vision, it was a cool concept where minimalism meets momentum.
Bona shared that her inspiration was two of Zaha Hadid’s most iconic buildings: the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, with its soft, flowing curves and organic movement, and the Guangzhou Opera House in China, defined by sharp geometry and bold, structured lines.
Now it’s your turn. Bona Jörg is the Joico Blonde Life Ambassador for Europe and a Creative Color Artist Joico EMEA Team Member. She’s happy to share her expertise and reveal how she made the collection sing with great colour work.
THE FLOATING LINE
This look captures movement in its purest form – dynamic, sculptural, yet effortless. The sleek finish contrasts with the natural movement of the hair.
A pre-coloured ponytail extension was attached and colour-matched. Here’s the formula…

LINEAR GRACE
This look contrasts restraint, movement and balance and flow. The deep back cut enhances the visual line, creating a dialogue between geometry and motion, says Bona.
As before, a ponytail extension was applied. A precise middle part was created to emphasise symmetry, and the hair was smoothed into a low, sleek ponytail secured with matte black type – echoing the linear tension of Hadid’s work. The transformation shows how one element can be reshaped into a new form with minimal intervention, highlighting creativity through simplicity.

WEIGHTLESS SYMPHONY
This look celebrates hair as an art form – a vision of freedom, movement, and lightness. Inspired by the organic flow of Hadid’s architecture, this look translates structural elegance into softness and volume. The interplay of muted pastel tones adds dimension and creates an ethereal, almost weightless presence.
The foundation was a long wig, extended further with individually pre-coloured tape extensions to achieve an extraordinary length and texture variety. Each section was pre-toned in soft, iridescent shades to create a multi-dimensional effect. The hair was curled with a medium-sized iron and pinned to cool before being released and gently combed through to form an airy, voluminous flow. A soft fringe around the face added delicacy and editorial balance.
