Recognising and rewarding exception colour talent, the Joico Color Talent Awards intend to push creativity, artistry, and celebrate the power of hair colour. It’s the first year of the competition and we’re all eyes on the results.
From more than 200 entries across EMEA, there is clearly passion for creating outstanding colour palettes and fusing them with creative cutting and styling. In order to enter the Color Talent Awards, stylists had the choice of three exciting categories to choose from:

This is the category that brings real-life salon magic to the spotlight!
WINNER: Charlotte Lauren Giamattei – Marc Antoni, United Kingdom
2nd: Maria Ahle – Juma Hairstudio, Denmark
3rd: Clinton (Chante) Herries – The Goddess Emporium, South Africa
YOUNG CREATIVE TALENT
Specifically designed for stylists under 30 years old who have worked hard to develop their colour skills. These finalists want to showcase their work to a wider audience.
WINNER: Alysha O’Keefe – Marc Antoni, United Kingdom
2nd: Regina Kiss-Varga – Fésűszépségszalon, Hungary
3rd: Ruby Lowe – Marc Antoni, United Kingdom
CREATIVE TALENT
This is for experienced stylists who are ready to showcase their mastery of hair colour.
WINNER: Monika Woźniak – Hair Colorist Studio, Poland
2nd:
- József Szikrist – Hairszikriszt, Hungary.
3rd: Maria Sanotchi – Joico Központ, Hungary
Judging process
The Joico Color Talent Awards are judged by an experienced group of European judges. Each has a wealth of experience in judging, entering and winning awards and competitions. They are: Bruno Marc Giamattei, Joico EMEA creative director; Grace Dalgleish, editorial hair colorist & educator; Sevda Durukan, Joico EMEA senior creative color artist team member; Dan Spiller, Joico EMEA ambassador; Alberto Di Domenico, Joico EMEA creative arrtist team member; Marianna Venieri-Schröder, Joico EMEA head of marketing; and Danielle Swartebroeckx, Joico EMEA head of education.
